    1. Determine the parameters based on which the Shipping points for the following orders were determined
    • SO # 10219 , Line Item 30
    • SO # 10198 , Line item 10
    • SO # 7360, Line item 20
    Answer: Shipping Point is determined by 3 parameters.
    1) Shipping condition (source from customer master under the shipping tab, Sales Documents type header data Shipping and manual over ride)
    2) Plant (Source from plant determination)
    3) Loading Group (Source from material master under Sales : General/Plant view and manual over ride)
    SO#10219 –Line item 30 – Shipping Point (1200) determined by Plant 1200, loading group 0003 and Shipping condition 02(standard)
    SO#10198 –Line item 10 – Shipping Point (1200) determined by Plant 1200, loading group 0003 and Shipping condition 02(standard)
    SO# 7360 – Line Item 20 – Shipping Point (1200) determined by Plant 1200, loading group 0003 and Shipping condition 02(standard)
    2. Which one among the following does NOT directly or indirectly affect the shipping point determination?
    • Loading Group
    • PO Number
    • Plant
    • Shipping Conditions
    • Order Type
    Answer: PO Number and Order Type are not affecting the shipping point determination.

    Siva,

    Refer to the question Nas asked below, I have the same issue.
    When you goto Assign Shipping Point in Logistic Execution.
    In ” Change View” Shipping Point Determination ” Overview ” and you provide
    Shipping Conditions, Loading Group and Plant info, how do you get value in PrShP column?
    How do you get propose shipping point vs manual shipping point?

      Hi Ehsaan
      I think the problem is with the word “proposed” shipping point . What it actually means that if you set up a proposed shipping point here, it will automatically show up in the sales document processing. It does not mean that SAP proposes it during configuration.

    1 Problems:
    1. In shipping point determination, I have assigned Shipping Condition (ZN) + Loading Group ZN03 + Plant 1200. Why doesn’t it show proposed shipping point? Am I supposed to (or Can I), insert a shipping point manually here? If I do that how it works? Does this manual shipping point becomes available (in dropdown) to manually override at the item level of the sales order

    DEFINE SHIPPING CONDITION BY SALES DOC TYPE… is it for a default value to propose for the sales doc type.

      1. When you say, “Why doesn’t it show..” where exactly isn’t it showing ? In the sales order ? Can you please give me the sales order # please ?
      2. Yes you can in the sales order as long as you have done the configuration
      3. Yes shipping point is available at the line item level for manual over-ride as discussed in the class the other day
      4. We have already discussed this in the shipping condition determination I guess. Shipping conditions come from Customer Master which can be superseded by Shipping conditions at sales doc type level.

    Ans: Shipping Point is determined taking into consideration three parameters:
    a. Shipping Condition from Customer master under the shipping tab, can be viewed under sales document header data Shipping.
    b. Loading Group from Material master under Sales : General/Plant view.
    c. Plant
    Here in the above mentioned Sales orders shipping point is determined using:
    Shipping Conditions (02-Standard) + Loading Group (0003- Manual) + Plant (1200)
    2. Which one among the following does NOT directly or indirectly affect the shipping point determination.
    Loading Group
    PO Number
    Plant
    Shipping Conditions
    Order Type
    Ans: PO number and Order type has no bearing on shipping point determination.

    Determine the parameters based on which the Shipping points for the following orders were determined

    SO # 10219 , Line Item 30 :
    Shipping point is 1200
    Plant from Sales org view of material mast 1200,
    shipping cond – 02 from shipping tab of custmast,
    loading group – 003 from sales general plant view of material master.
    If it was determined manually, shipping point will be 1999.

    SO # 10198 , Line item 10
    Shipping point is 1200,same as above.

    SO # 7360, Line item 20
    Shipping point is 1200,same as above.

    2. Which one among the following does NOT directly or indirectly affect the shipping point determination
