I am interested in SAP FICO training, I have my CPA, and MBA. I’ve been a Controller/Acctg Mgr for more than 18 years. Besides my accounting exposure, I have also installed, set-up charts of accounts, implemented small accounting software like QuickBook Pro/Enterprise, MAS 90/200, MS Dynamics Great Plains.

Would this be a good advise for me to take? Can you send me your course curriculum/coverage by week, and fees?

    Please advise…

    Thanks.

    AM Guibone

    Hi,

I would be interested to take up the online course from your institute. However before I sign up can you help me to decide whether or not this would be the right carrer choice for me. Iam from B.com background and have 5 years of BPO(backend processing) experience. Iam sure BPO experience is going to add no knowlege for whichever module(Sap). I was planning for SAP FICO. Though from commerce background I dont have much knowledge about accounts.(Almost forgotten only familiar with terms). Would I be able to understand and cop up. Please give a genuine advise and your opinion.

I am confused as to what course to take?do you think sap training in Fico is a good as I have accounting background? Please advice.
    Thanks

    • siva June 23, 2011 at 6:33 am #

      Mary
With an Accounting or Costing Background, SAP FICO is the best module to choose. Even from a job perspective, FICO is very promising if you work hard enough and have enough training and practice .

I am having domain experience of 20 years in finance and working as end user of SAP FICO. Is there any career growth if I am joining this course.

    Please reply

    • siva June 13, 2011 at 6:07 am #

Ofcourse there will be. The current market for SAP FICO in the US is @ 85$/hr + . Full time job opps in Bay area or tri-state area start at 125K +. If you think you are earning as much using your current job , then don’t shift. If not, you know what to do.

I would like to get SAP certification focusing on Logistics. I am planning to do SAP internationally, in this area of study – as an independant consultant, and trainer. Can your training to lead me to this? I have zero SAP exposure – but solid IT background and knowledge, NT, TCP/IP, some SQL.

    Please e-mail me back.

    • magnatrain April 19, 2011 at 4:41 am #

      Hi John
      Couple of questions.
      1. Where are you located ? Because applying for SAP Certification has certain restrictions in some countries. If you are in Canada, then no issues.
      2. I do not understand what you mean by “Planning to do SAP Internationally” . Can you please explain ?

Magna Training offers training in most common areas of SAP – Like SAP SD , MM, PP, CRM, ABAP etc. These are some of the common modules in which students get trained. Modules like SD, MM, CRM are more suitable for folks from functional background – For example, sales executives can choose to get trained in SAP SD , Customer Service Folks or people from Call center experience can choose to get trained in SAP CRM.
Your background seems to be more on the technical side – So, we strongly suggest that you go for one of the following modules in that order.
      1. SAP CRM Technical Training
      2. SAP BW Training
      3. SAP ABAP Training
      4. SAP XI Training

That being said, however, you can always go for SAP Functional Training areas as well – Like SAP CRM Training or SAP SD Training etc. We give you all the necessary functional background as well. So, the final choice I guess should be made on your personal interest and market trends.

You can call us at +1 503-336-1755 if you have further questions or email our sales team at sales@magnatraining.com. If you have made your decision to go with SAP Training, I can send you some sample videos on how SAP Training works so that you can experience it first hand. If you are interested, we can let you sit on a couple of our training classes for FREE to experience it First hand in order for you to make a better judgement call.

      Looking forward to your communication.
