Problem : Not able to create new Customers for newly created Customer Account Groups in SAP. For example, if you create a new Customer Account Group ZTES – Test Customer Account Group, you will have issues creating the Customer in the Sales Tab of the Sales Area of the Customer master.
Solution : This problem has been faced by many SAP Training students during their SAP SD Classes. This occurs because, when new Customer account groups are created the corresponding Partner Determination also needs to be done. To immediately fix this, you can just assign the partner determination procedure assigned to another Customer Account Group , sap 0001 sold-to and assign it to the new Customer account group created.
Step 1 : Go to Transaction VOPAN ( SAP Partner Determination )
Step 2 : Select Customer master in the radio buttons and then click on change.
Step 3 : Identify the Partner Functions you need in the new customer account group ZTES and assign them by clicking on new entries.
If you get the warning message – choose the key from the allowed namespace, hit enter to ignore it.
Step 4 : Save it and go back and create the Customer master again. This time it will work.
when i create customer then at partner determination screen shows same party in all four fields (sp,sh,bp,py) but i want it to do different-2 party . so please help me to do this
Siva, Can you please help with the following.
1. I copied Customer Account Group 0001 and created ZSK1. I attached the same Partner Determination Procedure (AG) to ZSK1. I am creating 2 customers, 500008 using A/C Group 0001 and another 500011 using ZSK1. I expect both to behave identically, but they are not.
When I create a customer in VD01 using Group 0001, partner functions SP, SH, BP and PY are automatically assigned.
But when I create a customer in VD01 using Group ZSK1, partner functions SP, SH, BP and PY are not automatically assigned.
2. Also, when I go to “Account Groups – Function Assignment” in SPRO Partner Determination, I don’t see any partner functions assigned to ZSK1. When I try to manually assign, I get error “SV019 – Choose the key from the allowed namespace”.
