How to view Field Changes to SAP Customer Master – Feb 2011 SAP Training Batch

If you want to view the changes that have been done to the SAP Customer Master, use the menu path Environment -> Field Changes. The system will list the fields that have been changed as follows. This concept applies to SAP Material Master also. So this post applies to both SAP SD Training students as well as SAP MM Training students.

If you want to view all the changed values at one, click on “All Changes” and the system will display the list of all the Old and new values for the field.

If you want to see the exact time and the user id who has done the specific changes, just double click on the change.

Though this is not a typical interview question, all SAP Training students should know this.

Question 1 : For SAP Customer Master 1400, give the list of changes that happened on 09.11.1994

Question 2 : On 10.10.96, the SAP Customer Master 1400 was changed . What is the old Recon Account and What is the new Recon Account ?

Question 3  : On 08.02.99, the SAP Customer Master 1400′s City was changed. Give the User id who has done this change ?

    Q1: No Change on date
    Q2: No Change on date
    Q3: user=CURA, however it happened on 18.02.99

    1,2. There is no change on that particular dates.

    3. The user CURA changed the city from Koln to Koeln on 18.02.1999

    Question 1 : For SAP Customer Master 1400, give the list of changes that happened on 09.11.1994
    Answer: There is no such event happened on 09.11.1994 but day before and day after following changed made into customer 1400.
    08.11.1994 – search field changed from Demo to Airplane.
    10.11.1994 – 1) Region field added value 75,
    2) City field changed from Toulouse to Paris.
    Question 2 : On 10.10.96, the SAP Customer Master 1400 was changed . What is the old Recon Account and what is the new Recon Account?
    Answer: Nothing happened on 10.10.1996.
    Question 3: On 08.02.99, the SAP Customer Master 1400′s City was changed. Give the User id, who has done this change?
    Answer: User CURA changed city on 18.02.99 not on 08.02.99.

    A : The VAT registration number was changed from DE498756436 to DE498756439

    Question 2 : On 10.10.96, the SAP Customer Master 1400 was changed . What is the old Recon Account and What is the new Recon Account ?
    Old Recon Account : 141000
    New Recon Account : 140000

    Question 3 : On 18.02.99, the SAP Customer Master 1400′s City was changed. Give the User id who has done this change ?

    Question 1 : For SAP Customer Master 1400, give the list of changes that happened on 09.11.1994. Since the system info has changed, I chose the date to be 10.11.94. There the field “City” changed from Toulouse to Paris. Also the field “Region” changed from blank to 75

    Question 2 : On 10.10.96, the SAP Customer Master 1400 was changed . What is the old Recon Account and What is the new Recon Account ? NA

    Question 3 : On 18.02.99, the SAP Customer Master 1400′s City was changed. Give the User id who has done this change ? User id is CURA.

    I see exactly the same as Larry, I do not see any changes done for questions one and two.

    Question 3 18-02-99 City name changed from Kolin to KOLN by CURA at 8.37am.

    Rajesh sees the related changes for Questions 1, 2. Am I missing something? Please clarify.

      Think I answered mine and Larry’s questions. The Customer code
      1000, Customer 1400 shows changes different than CCode 3000, Customer 1400.

      Siva, can you clarify if these can be completely different customers with
      different names? I would think so..

    Changes done on 09/11/1994 for customer 1400.

    1) Payment Method was changed from “Blank” to “S” on 9.11.94

    Question 2:

    New Reconciliation Account: 140000 changed on 10.10.96
    Old Reconciliation Account: 141000

    Question 3: On 18.02.99, the SAP Customer Master 1400′s City was changed. Give the User id that has done this change?

    User ID: CURA on 18.02.1999 changed city from koln to koeln.

    1) Payment Method was changed from “Blank” to “S”
    2) Record Payment History was changed from Blank to “X”

    Question 2: On 10.10.96, the SAP Customer Master 1400 was changed. What is the old Recon Account and what is the new Recon Account?

    New Reconciliation Account: 140000
    Old Reconciliation Account: 141000

    I can display the changed fields for my customers and customer 1400. However, the change fields and dates I see do not agree with the other users.

    Question 1 : For SAP Customer Master 1400, give the list of changes that happened on 09.11.1994
    My data is different from other users – There were no changes on that date.

    Question 2 : On 10.10.96, the SAP Customer Master 1400 was changed . What is the old Recon Account and What is the new Recon Account ?
    My data is different from other users – There was no change to the recon acct field.

    Question 3 : On 08.02.99, the SAP Customer Master 1400′s City was changed. Give the User id who has done this change ?
    My data is different from other users – There were no changes on that date.
    On the 18/02/99 the city changed from KOLN to KOELN

    Ans1: On 09.11.1994 user Schoepfel changed three fields for CoCd 1000, Rec,payment hist from blank to X, Payment methods blank to S, created dunning area.
    Ans:2 Old value 141000 and new value was 140000.
    Ans3: There is no entry for the date 08.02.99, But city was changed on 18.02.99 by user-id CURA.

    Answer 3. No changes are displayed with the above mentioned data but if you change the date to 18.02.99 then system displays the changes and USER ID who has done the change is CURA
